Hello parents, let’s see about the Parents app Privacy.

This is where you can find out how Parents collects, stores, protects and shares data about you (“Policy”). Parents (“us”, “we”, or “our”) operates the Parents mobile application (hereinafter referred to as the “Service”). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service and the choices you have associated with that data. 

We use your data to provide and improve the Service. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. Unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy, the terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions.

Changes to the Privacy Policy

From time to time we may change this Privacy Policy. You can tell when changes have been made to the Privacy Policy by referring to the “Last Updated” legend at the top of this page. Service = Service is the Parents mobile application operated by Parents.

Usage Data = Usage Data is data collected automatically either generated by the use of the Service or from the Service infrastructure itself (for example, the duration of a page visit).

Information Collection and Use = We collect several different types of information for various purposes to provide and improve our Service to you.

Personal Data

While using our Service, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you (“Personal Data”). Personally identifiable information may include, but is not limited to:

Use of Data

Your information, including Personal Data, may be transferred to – and maintained on – computers located outside of your state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ than those from your jurisdiction.

If you are located outside Romania and choose to provide information to us, please note that we transfer the data, including Personal Data, to Romania and process it there. Parents will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy and no transfer of your Personal Data will take place to an organization or a country unless there are adequate controls in place including the security of your data and other personal information.

The Purposes for Which We Use The Data

a) We use the personal data you provide to us directly for the following purposes:

Where we store your personal data

The data that we collect from you may be stored in the European Union as well as being transferred to, and stored at, a destination outside the European Economic Area (“EEA”) such as the United States. It may also be processed by staff operating outside the EEA who work for us or for one of our suppliers. This includes staff engaged in, among other things, the provision of support services. By submitting your personal data, you agree to this transfer, storing or processing. Parents will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this privacy policy.

The photos that you upload are parted, shared with other members and can not be downloaded.All rights to the uploaded photos belong to the user. Physically, this data is stored on servers in the Amazon Cloud (AWS).

Disclosure Of Data

Legal Requirements

Parents may disclose your Personal Data in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to:

  • To comply with a legal obligation;
  • To protect and defend the rights or property of Parents;
  • To prevent or investigate possible wrongdoing in connection with the Service;
  • To protect the personal safety of users of the Service or the public; and
  • To protect against legal liability.

Security of Data

The security of your data is important to us but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Service Providers

We may employ third party companies and individuals to facilitate our Service (“Service Providers”), to provide the Service on our behalf, to perform Service-related services or to assist us in analyzing how our Service is used.

These third parties have access to your Personal Data only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.

Our Service may contain links to other sites that are not operated by us. If you click a third party link, you will be directed to that third party’s site. We strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of every site you visit.

We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies or practices of any third party sites or services.

What others see about you

Parents is designed to make it easier for you to connect with other Users and to interact with them. When you register or login to the App using your Facebook account/Google account, you are authorizing us to access certain Facebook account/Google account information, including information you make available via Facebook, your friends list and those friends you have in common with other Parents users. Your profile and other information you make available via the App, including information you provide directly or indirectly through Facebook/Google (i.e., your Facebook photos, your name, age, approximate location, friends you have in common with other Users and other profile information), may be viewed and shared by Users with individuals who may or may not be Users or via third party applications.

When using Parents you should assume that anything you post or submit on the App may be publicly-viewable and accessible, both by Users of the App and non-Users of the App. So, please be careful about what you post, particularly when it relates to your children. We want to keep you safe, but we need you to help us. Of course, you have the possibility to choose whether your account is meant to be public or private.

Children’s Privacy

Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13.

We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your Child has provided us with Personal Data, please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected Personal Data from children without verification of parental consent, we take steps to remove that information from our servers.

Access to information

You may request, at any time, Parents to provide you with information about the data it stores on you. In order to file a request, please contact privacy@parentsapp.co. We will process that request in line with any applicable local laws and our policies and procedures in place for dealing with such requests.
